Nana in Cleveland!
We are very fortunate to have parents who love to watch Drew grow and spend time with him. Paul's mom was able to join us out in Cleveland for a week. She watched Drew while I was able to work and run to Pittsburgh for meetings and personal time. It was so wonderful to have her around to visit and spend time together. As always, were able to get a fair amount of work done around the apartment. Kathy also prepared many wonderful and delicious meals. I always leave a few pounds heavier!
That week she and Boo were able to spend some quality time at the park exploring the grass, wood chips and toys. Dale also enjoyed the extra company!! We started to watch "Call the Midwife", which is a series on PBS. I read the books from which they were based, and loved seeing how the episodes brought the characters to life. The boys didn't enjoy that as much as we did. We also went out to eat as a group at Bodega and enjoyed sharing a meal.
We also took a trip down to the Open Market to load up on fresh veggies, fruit, and meat. It was an excellent way to spend the morning. We finished with a meal at the Great Lakes Brewing Company, which was also delicious, but the "specials" were deceptively expensive - whew!
It was so nice to have Kathy out to visit in Cleveland to stay with Paul and John. We absolutely love having company! I hope you enjoyed a few pictures from the week!
