One Year, round two!
One year!
How quickly did this year go - very, very quickly! It was a whirlwind of medical school and rotations, followed by family time, rushed dinners and rapid nighttime routines. Long days and long nights morphed into short weeks and even faster months. The year flew by before our eyes.
We have also been blessed by an absolute joy of a baby who's grown into a spunky one year old. Maybe he got up a few more times at night over the course of the year - and still hasn't figured out how to master a full night sleep - but what a relaxed and laid back baby. We have been spoiled by his flexibility and good nature.

We celebrated one year of joy with an intimate celebration with our family, our close friends and our sweet and thoughtful neighbors. It was small and perfect. I love a simple celebration - really every day is a joy and and treasure when you have two smiling healthy children, a supportive partner and family - every day is a reason to celebrate, but this day has a little more cake.
Thank you for a wonderful year my sweet, chill man!
Cake? Not interested. It appears to be a theme with my children.
